Tom is Interviewed by Cory Meets World

On April 23, Tom had the pleasure of sitting down (via webcam) to chat with Cory Meets World about Disney history and his time working for the Mouse. The two hour interview was done live on YouTube and if you missed it, you can check it out here:

We’re Still Here!

Hey friends!

Sorry for the radio silence! It’s been a busy few years since Tom’s granddaughter was born in 2015. But we’re still around and going to do our best to keep you more updated on all of Tom’s forthcoming appearances! In the meantime, please enjoy this photo of Tom and his granddaughter from the Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian Resort last night.

It’s Been 63 Years…

On this day, 63 years ago, Tom was hired by Walt Disney himself to be the very first Tom Sawyer on Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland. Can you even imagine? What a memory!

Happy Hire-iversary, Tom!

Photos from Tom’s Visit to Marceline

On July 23rd, Tom visited Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri along with Legend Bill Sullivan and Bob Penfield to help the Walt Disney Hometown Museum open their new Club 55 Gallery.

All three men spoke as part of the Museum’s Speaker Series and are the event was so large, it had to be moved to a more accommodating space! Bill and Tom did book signings that evening, and their books are now available in the Museum’s gift shop. They were also treated to a walking tour all over Marceline, learning more about the city’s history and the Disney Family connection.
